Jenna has always had a passion for creative expression through writing, photography and all art mediums. Whether capturing moments on film, designing a logo that reflects the message of the customer, or simply putting pencil to paper to sketch an image, Jenna has used her artistic ability to create and design art for work, for friends, or simply for herself. The daughter of a newspaper editor, Jenna has been exposed to the written word since birth. At four days of age, she was carried through a running press room and calmly slept. Jenna is a published writer* and an award-winning artist**. Her works have been published online and also in print. She has been recognized for her journalism talents at the state and national levels. Her artistic talents were nurtured at an early age and through her high school years. As a child, disposable cameras and stuffed animals became willing participants in photo shoots, and any piece of paper became a canvas for her creations. Moving to digital cameras and paints and brushes, she expanded her range of design and eventually moved into clay, chalk, acrylics, and pastels. thereafter, her college education began at the warm and sunny Texas A&M at Corpus Christi and was completed at the University of Houston at Clear Lake where she earned her Bachelors Degree in Communication. While there, she served as editor of “The Signal†and art editor of “Bayousphereâ€; both student publications of University. She became a resource for many in editing and design. Jenna Simsen is a fifth-generation Texan, Born and raised in Texas City. She currently works and resides in League City, Texas. In her spare time, Jenna enjoys traveling, live music performances, spending time with her friends, loved ones, and her faithful canine companion, Hammer.
